You didn't love me

You loved the idea of me

The one you could fit into your

Perfect pretty box with straight edges

The box is now busted

Mangled and rendered useless

You don't know where to put me

It's easier to dispose

Than to find a new receptacle

How about no receptacle at all?

What would that look like?

You never bothered to

Ask yourself the question
