Hi, I’m Alex — a Montreal-born, Toronto-based Creative Director, font enthusiast, synesthete, and certified plant whisperer with a  love for eclectic home decor and forest walks. I’ve got a thing for bold ideas and layouts that make people stop scrolling.

Originally from Montreal (where I learned to love bagels and typography), I spent 15+ years in print advertising while moonlighting as a self-taught Graphic Designer and learned the power of visual storytelling. In 2008, I moved to Toronto and launched my own boutique design studio. Since then, I’ve worked with a mix of clients — from government agencies and national brands to indie artists, non-profits, and local legends.

Over the past 24+ years, I’ve specialized in branding, print, and layout design, and more recently, I’ve leaned into Illustration and Digital Fine Art — because sometimes a visual idea just wants to live outside the grid. My work blends creativity with practicality: I love big visions and tight timelines. I get excited about kerning. I thrive in organized chaos. My approach is a mix of instinct and experience: creative, practical, a little quirky, and always deadline-friendly.

I believe good design should feel like a great conversation: clear, memorable, and maybe a little unexpected. Let’s make something gorgeous together.

I have also often spoken up for causes close to my heart. My passion for them has often overlapped with my work. I believe that we are all part of a global community and therefore have a responsibility to make the world a better place.

My advocacy had often been focused around Women's Issues and Rights. Since Oct 7 2023, as a Jewish Canadian woman, my voice has shifted and is now focused on everything relating to fighting Jew Hatred and for the Jewish People's right to self-determination in their Indigenous homeland of Israel.

I am passionate about making a difference and have an unwavering commitment to social justice. I have always felt that the people who believe they can change the world are the ones who do.
